En el presente trabajo nos proponemos demostrar filosófica y jurídicamente la necesidad y la bondad del Estado, entendido éste como la comunidad política soberana, en virtud de resultar aquel el único ámbito en el que la persona puede alcanzar la plenitud ordenada de los bienes necesarios para la vida humana perfecta en el orden temporal; es decir, el bien común político. Nos apoyamos para este cometido en la concepción iusnaturalista solidarista de lo político, basada en la tradición filosófica aristotélico tomista.
This paper aims to prove both philosophically and juridically the necessity and goodness of the State understood as a sovereign political community, given that only in a State a person can achieve the ordered fullness of the necessary goods for a perfect human life in the temporal order, that is, the political common good. For this purpose, we rely on the conception of politics according to the notions of natural law and solidarity, based on the Aristotelian-Thomistic philosophical tradition.
