A lo largo de la historia, la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia (DSI) se ha preocupado por dar una respuesta a la cuestión social, por ejemplo, el rol de las organizaciones en la sociedad. Del mismo modo, a finales del siglo XX, surgen teorías que estudian la responsabilidad social (RS), centrándose en la discusión sobre medidas o patrones para evaluar el impacto de las organizaciones y su contribución al desarrollo sostenible. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo, realizar un análisis integrado de los principios y valores de la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia y de los principios y materias de la Responsabilidad Social, y desarrollar una matriz que permita demostrar la compatibilidad entre ambos.
Throughout history, the Social Doctrine of the Church (SDC) has been concerned with providing an answer to social questions, for example, the role of organizations in society. Similarly, at the end of the 20th century, theories that study social responsibility (SR) emerged, focusing on the discussion of measures or standards to assess the impact of organizations and their contribution to sustainable development. The objective of this article is to carry out an integrated analysis of the principles and values of the Social Doctrine of the Church and of the principles and matters of Social Responsibility, and to develop a matrix that allows demonstrating the compatibility between both.
