En el presente trabajo haremos un tejido entre las ideas filosóficas de Luc Ferry y André Comte-Sponville. Ferry comienza un breve viaje en el mundo de las ideas filosóficas de los estoicos, Platón y Aristóteles; finaliza en el existencialismo y el posmodernismo. Es un viaje fascinante destinado a aquellos que desean encontrar el sentido de la vida y descubrir la dignidad y libertad del individuo. Comte-Sponville asegura que cuando leyó a los filósofos griegos descubrió que la verdad es la que nos hace felices; por ello sostiene que la filosofía es una “buena madre”, en el sentido que brinda una imagen distinta en la relación felicidad y verdad.
In the present work we will make a weave between the philosophical ideas of Luc Ferry and André Comte-Sponville. Ferry begins a brief journey into the world of the philosophical ideas of the Stoics, Plato and Aristotle; he ends up in existentialism and postmodernism. It is a fascinating journey for those who wish to find the meaning of life and discover the dignity and freedom of the individual. Comte-Sponville assures that when he read the Greek philosophers he discovered that the truth is what makes us happy; for this reason, he maintains that philosophy is a "good mother".
