En estas breves líneas, querríamos referirnos a la presencia no explicitada del trasfondo mítico que se adivina en el poema “El Amenazado”, y sus correlatos metafísicos. En él, Borges evoca la cualidad destinal a la vez que ontológica de la experiencia amorosa, así como incertidumbres que rodean la asimilación psicológica de un hecho tan radical a la maduración espiritual/humana.
In these few lines, we would like to make reference to the unexpressed presence of mythical background which appears in J.L. Borges ‘s poem “The Threatened” and their metaphysical context. Borges evokes the destinal quality of the love encounter and their ontological correlate, as well as the emotional uncertainties that s surround the psychological assimilation of such radical experience, which mirrors the spiritual grow.
