El artículo ofrece una lectura del debate político apreciado desde la justicia como la anticipación de la ciudad divina, a la luz del pensamiento de San Agustín. Una ciudad sin justica es carente de orden. La ciudad se fundamenta en la paz y para obtenerla es necesario que el Estado este provisto de unas leyes que lleven a los ciudadanos a una verdadera libertad, teniendo en cuenta que el hombre cuando es libre es feliz, pero esta libertad es ante todo el preludio de la ciudad de Dios. El hombre es partícipe de la política en el cumplimiento perfecto de la ley y es la ley la que permitirá la vivencia del hombre en un entorno, es políticamente incorrecto pensar en el hombre fuera de una sociedad. El hombre debe rechazar de una manera perentoria las apetencias mundanas sus vicios y concupiscencias para así poder alcanzar de una manera definitiva la felicidad tan anhelada que es el cielo, la libertad es la semejanza total del hombre con su Dios; el hombre justo es aquel que da a cada uno lo que es suyo y distribuye a los otros según sus méritos.
The article offers a reading of the political debate appreciated from justice, such as the anticipation of the divine city in the light of the thought of St. Augustine. A city without justice is devoid of order. The city is based on peace, and in order to obtain it, it is necessary that the State be provided with laws that take citizens to real freedom, taking into account that, when man is free, he is happy, but this freedom it is first and foremost the prelude to the city of God.
