Este es un texto que, a modo de ensayo, explora dos términos cruciales dentro de la discusión sobre los Universales: la Idea de Platón y el eidos de Edmund Husserl. Desde intercambios de sentidos, experimentos mentales y suspensiones de mundos especiales, nos iremos deslizando lenta y cautelosamente hacia el corazón de esta discusión, hasta llegar a la cavidad cardiaca que le corresponde a la Teoría de las Ideas. Se advierte de antemano al lector que encontrará términos que podrían incomodarle como: alma, reminiscencia, verdad absoluta, indubitabilidad, eternidad, y demás conceptos que son extremadamente precisos a la hora de describir las realidades que trataremos.
This text, as an essay, explores two crucial terms within the discussion of theUniversals: Plato´s Idea and Edmund Husserl´s eidos. From exchanges of meaning, thought experiments and suspensions of special worlds, we will slowly and cautiously slide towards the heart of the discussion, until we reach the corresponding cardiac cavity of the Theory of Ideas. The reader is warned in advance that he will find terms that may bother him, for instance: soul, reminiscence, absolute truth, indubitability, eternity, and such concepts so extremely precise when describing the realities that we will deal with.
