El presente documento pretende narrar la historia y primera evolución de un espacio universitario para promover una cultura de innovación, en amplia interacción con el territorio, en una institución universitaria privada. Dicho espacio, llamado Colaboratorio de Innovación Tecnológica, reconoce un conjunto de antecedentes de gran importancia en su formulación y un hito particular que destaca el valor de la colaboración y la confluencia de intereses intra e inter organizacionales para su concreción. Asimismo se mencionan obstáculos y desafíos que este tipo de enfoque enfrenta en una institución como la referida y las oportunidades que representa para el territorio en el que se despliega.
This document aims to narrate the history and first evolution of a university space to promote a culture of innovation, in broad interaction with the territory, in a private university institution. This space, called the Technological Innovation Collaboratory, recognizes a set of backgrounds of great importance in its formulation and a particular milestone that highlights the value of collaboration and the confluence of intra and inter-organizational interests for its realization. Likewise, obstacles and challenges that this type of approach faces in an institution like the aforementioned and the opportunities it represents for the territory in which it is deployed are mentioned.
