Con el presente artículo queremos señalar los principios del método teológico de Santo Tomás. Dicho objetivo lo abordamos desde la noción de sacra doctrina, la cual es hoy en día es una noción olvidada y de ahí proviene la dificultad para su correcta comprensión. De ahí que se tienda a identificarla con la teología, restringiéndola fuertemente. Para Santo Tomás es una noción muy importante. Por esta razón toda la primera cuestión de la Suma Teológica gira sobre ella, pues la sacra doctrina es necesaria para quien se adentra en el conocimientos teológico. Es una ciencia en el sentido estricto del término; pero también es sabiduría, porque tiene por sujeto al mismo Dios.
This paper tries to note the concepts of the theologic method of St. Thomas Aquinas, from the notion of “sacred doctrine”, wich is forgotten nowadays. In fact, this concept is frequently identified with Theology . In the St. Thomas´ work, the “sacred doctrine” is avery important notion and it´s the focus of attention in the first part of Summa Theologica, because it´s really necessary to go into de theological knowledge. It´s a science but it´s wisdom too, because its subject is God. That´s the reason why this concept should be complemented with prayer and meditation of these divine realities.
