Abstract
Description
In this paper, we intend to study how machinic semiosis has impacted the dynamics of the contemporary global semiosphere, from the theoretical perspective of Yuri Lotman. For this thinker, the semiosphere is the space outside of which semiosis is impossible and which tends to semiotize everything that falls within it. Based on this idea, we are interested in investigating how this process of semiotization occurs both through natural and secondary languages, and through digital language, especially by artificial intelligence tools that evaluate the real, suggest, recommend and make decisions based on the conclusions they obtain in their processing of data obtained from the world, as well as in their learning. This is what we call "machinic semiosis", whose exponentially accelerated advance impacts fully on our ways of existing, thinking, acting, creating, that is, on the dynamics of the semiosphere. We will focus on the analysis of the characteristics of this special type of semiosis and how they adhere to our thoughts and our actions transform us definitively.
