| dc.description | Thomas Hobbes define al hombre como un ser pasional dotado de palabra. Esta afirmación debe ser entendida del siguiente modo: el hombre no es simplemente un ser que habla sino que es un ser que llega a ser lo que es por la palabra. Ahora bien, fundar la especificidad de lo humano en el lenguaje, siguiendo la propuesta antropológica del pensador inglés, supone antes, tratar al hombre como un ser de pasiones. Analizar el carácter pasional de lo humano, apreciar la importancia de tal concepción en la afirmación de la primacía de lo individual y en la configuración subjetiva del “considerar”, constituyen el objetivo del trabajo que proponemos. | |

This statement should be read as follows: man is not just a being who speaks, but a being who is who he is, because of the word. Now, to establish the specificity of humanity in language, following this author’s anthropological proposal, means to treat the human being as a being of passions. The aim of this article is to analyze the passionate nature of the human character, to appreciate its importance in the individualism and subjective configuration of “considering”. | |
