dc.descriptionThis paper is concerned with the English middle and the teaching of the construction at teacher training and translators’ programmes. The paper offers a theoretical characterization of the construction and a tentative analysis couched within the framework of Distributed Morphology. It proposes a scientific approach to the study of Grammar at teacher training and translators’ programmes and it discusses the advantages of implementing this approach. It also discusses the implications of teaching the middle construction and makes some suggestions for presenting the structure at teacher training and translators’ programmes.es_ES
